NEC Display's reputation is for providing high quality visual displays, but they recently ventured out with an exciting new interactive software (installed on the iPad) for the classroom and other education solutions. It was an honor to be contracted by them to shoot, direct and edit the introductory promotional video for this new product from scratch. My goals in shooting for coverage were to emphasize how convenient this tool was for teachers in that they could control so much of their presentation wirelessly from their iPads, and that they would never need to have their backs turned toward the students during class time. This new software also provided a more interactive experience between students and teacher. In addition, the video contains detailed tutorials on how to use the software. It will be packaged with the software and stylus (available for purchase on necdisplay.com) as well as available for viewing at various locations including NEC's website, YouTube, nationwide tradeshows, and worldwide in countries like Japan. (Note: This sample video is a condensed version. The original is about 9 minutes long and can be viewed on NEC Display's website.)
